The cuddriredda di Delia is a typical product of Sicilian pastry in the shape of donuts intertwined to form crowns. It is said that the "crown" shape was born as a tribute to the castellane who lived in Delia during the war of the Sicilian Vespers. The cuddrireddra is crunchy, sweet, never cloying, with notes of cinnamon, orange peel and a very slight hint of red wine used in the dough. Strictly fried in extra virgin olive oil.
